Standing alongside the well-known train commuter Vice-President Joe Biden, President Barack Obama on Thursday gave the details of and made the case for the $10 billion investment in high-speed rail in the stimulus package. Unfortunately for us Coloradoans, there is no money for the long hoped-for passenger rail lank between the Front Range cities of Ft. Collins, Denver and Colorado Springs (and, perhaps, stretching north to Cheyenne, Wyoming and south to Albuquerque, NM).
