Copenhagen Climate Speech Mash-Up

google_mashup_cop15

Over the course of the two-week Copenhagen climate summit, mountains of data and information poured out of the Bella Center as some 5,000 journalists saturated the global media market with big stories, incredible photos, and even some fake news. With that in mind, we endeavored to build a tool that could synthesize the vast quantity of information into a geo-political mash-up of speeches, word clouds, videos and links from the COP15 climate summit. Keep in mind, this map is still in progress and we plan on opening it up to your contributions soon. Big thanks to David Wescott of It’s Not a Lecture in aggregating most of the map data.
