Crude Awakening: BP Oil Spill PSA by National Wildlife Federation [VIDEO]

This new National Wildlife Federation (NWF) PSA brings the agony of living in oil to our imagination a little more fully. Not a video to watch while eating.

The birds, turtles and other forms of life that live in the Gulf of Mexico have it much worse than the lady in the video, but I think NWF makes the point well.

Interestingly, though, when I first saw this video I thought it was going to be making the point that our dependence on oil is a major cause of the horrible BP oil spill disaster in the Gulf. Perhaps it is implied a bit when the lady holds up her keys and they are all covered in oil.
