Author, environmentalist, educator Bill McKibben is apparently drawing some of the same conclusions about why Obama Administration officials declined to accept the Carter White House solar panel they brought down from Unity College in Maine.
Asked today by NPR's Science Friday host Ira Flatow about the White House reaction to the presence of the Carter-era solar in the Obama-era White House and how Administration officials didn't even want to be photographed with it, McKibben speculated:
"...they were afraid that touching the Carter solar panel would give them electoral cooties just weeks before the mid-term elections."
