steven chuAs a follow-up to Tuesday night's State of the Union address, Energy Secretary Steven Chu will host the Department of Energy's inaugural Energy Matters live chat on Wednesday, January 26th at 12:45pm EST, to discuss President Obama's clean energy and innovation agenda. Secretary Chu will answer questions from both an online and in-person audience.

Wednesday's online town hall will kick off a new year-long series called Energy Matters, in which experts from the Department will talk about issues people have asked to hear more about, and answer questions in a live online forum.

To submit questions, email them to newmedia@hq.doe.gov, post them on DOE's Facebook page, or tweet @energy with the hashtag #chu.

We also invite you to keep an eye out for and use the hashtag #ecosotu for your energy and environment-themed tweets before, during and after Tuesday night's State of the Union.
