We are a new media company publishing websites that focus on energy, the environment and sustainable living. By leading the conversation about green issues, LiveOAK aims to advance the principals of sustainability by making them meaningful and accessible to a mainstream audience.
Remember Zaproot, the now-defunct eco-snark-laden video news show hosted by Jessica Williamson on ViroPop? Well, Zaproot's creator, Damien Somerset, is back with a new project called Shift Logic that does much of the same stuff as its predecessor but the new iteration relies on user-submitted content to fuel the eco-snark. And fueling the eco-snark in the most recent episode of the Shift Logic program, was ecopolitology's piece about the Yes Men Chamber of Commerce prank. Watch it:
Timothy Hurst is the founder and editor of ecopolitology and executive editor of theLiveOAK Media Network. He writes mostly about energy and environmental politics, clean tech and green business -- but has a habit of covering music festivals in the summer. When not reading, writing, or talking about environmental politics to anyone who will listen, Tim likes to ski, hike with his aging lab and get dirty in his Colorado veggie garden.
